I lost my right arm in August of 04. It's kinda crazy but it's actually kind of fun. I'm not saying it doesnt have a few downsides but hey I got out of three traffic tickets so far. lol....I really enjoy learning how to do things onehanded. It's a challenge sometimes and that's why it's fun. I dont like what my nub looks like but it's frickin strong as ever. I'm lifting the same weight with my "good" arm as my nub. Don't mess with "SuperNub" lol...I know I'm wierd but you gotta do what you gotta do, right? The biggest reason it would be nice to have two again is because I want to finish school. Certain things make it hard to pass classes when teachers are unwilling to help. I cant keep paying for the same class over and over so I ran out of money. It's a temporary hold on my lifelong dream to be an Adaptive Residential Designer for people living with handicaps and immune-deficiecies. We need more advocates for the disabled even minorly disabled. The insurance companies think its ok to take advantage of their "customers" because they dont have the strength or knowledge to fight against a multimillion dollar industry. What ever happened to people caring about eachother rather than the evil greens? Anyway sorry for the little rant. I just think that its ridiculous that my insurance wont cover a functioning prosthetic because its not "medically necessary" I could cut their right arm off and see if they think its medically necessary, right. JK...I wouldnt do it but you know what I mean, right. Anyways, life goes on.I am going back to Romania in July for another ST Mission Trip. I'm so excited.
