You are
What Rejected Crayon Are You?
You Are 71% Peaceful
You are a very peaceful person. All is good in your world, no matter what's going on.
Occasionally you let your problems get to you, but you generally remain upbeat.
Your inner strength is inspirational - much more so than you may realize. How Peaceful Are You?
You Should Learn French
C'est super! You appreciate the finer things in life... wine, art, cheese, love affairs.
You are definitely a Parisian at heart. You just need your tongue to catch up... What Language Should You Learn?
You are a Self-Discoverer
You're not religious, but you've created your own kind of spirituality.
Introspective and thoughtful, you tend to look inward for the divine.
You are distrusting of all forms of organized religion.
You especially dislike religious gurus and leaders, who you feel are charlatans. What's Your Religious Philosophy?I don't know what exactly to say about myself except that I am kind and thoughtful and always give people the benefit of the doubt before I pass judgement. I am easygoing, funny, sometimes silly, sometimes wierd, never high maintenance, sexy in the right setting, successful and serious when I need to be and very patient. I am also a good friend, a good listener and am fiercly loyal to those who are close to me.I love good times and to be surrounded by good people, I love to have fun in all settings whether it be sitting in a bar, dancing somewhere or just chillin' at home with a flick. I also love to cook when I have company around and I love to do things for those close to me if it means making them happy and comfortable.Drop me a note if you are interested in chatting - I'm all about meeting new friends! Oh and je cherche toujours des gens ici qui parlent français alors que je puisse pratiquer...merci!!

My Interests

Hiking, sightseeing, movies, coffee houses, basketball, art (especially Van Gogh), wine, music, foreign language, working out, running and travel. I will also try anything new.Oh, I love to do the goth thing too...once in a while.

I'd like to meet:

First and foremost, a man who doesn't LIE to me; someone who doesn't mind a spur of the moment weekend camping or hiking trip or a little get-together at the local pub for beers; someone who doesn't mind painting the town all sorts of wild colors, someone fun and spontaneous who, at the same time, doesn't mind staying in and watching a movie when the mood calls for it. Seattle and the rest of Washington are a great place and I want to find that someone to share it with.Among the famous, Sarah MacLachlan, Amy Lee, Hillary Clinton, Diane Keaton, Winona Ryder, Natacha Atlas, John Krasinski Mike Rowe (because some older men are just damn sexy), Rob Zombie (he is just a creative genious!!), Dennis Leary, Mike Judge, Christopher Walken, Cate Blanchett and Milla Jovovich.

Music:

I like to listen to whatever moves me so I have no set preferences. Among the faves: Coldplay, Natacha Atlas, Loreena McKennitt, Sarah McLachlan, Cibo Matto, Esthero, Indio Girls, Android Lust, Evanescence, Rob Zombieand yes, some country music - the Dixie Chicks, Tim McGraw, Cash, Hank Williams (Dad grew up in the south, can't forget that...)and of course, you can't forget the music from high school: STP, Soundgarden, Alice N' Chains, Nirvana, Candlebox, Hole, Portishead, Pearl Jam, Spin Doctors... just to name a few.On the other side of things, Moby and David Holmes...my faves right now...

Movies:

I like horror films (as long as I have someone to hold me when I get scared haha or else a huge pillow nearby so that I can bury my face in it) and I also like action films and historical fiction.I also like silly/stupid movies like Monty Python, Napoleon Dynamite, etc.Foreign films...Some favorites are: Memoirs of a Geisha, Elizabeth, Stigmata, The Ring, and Mona Lisa Smile.

Television:

The Office. The Discovery Channel, History Channel...movies.

Books:

The Mists of Avalon; Nice Girls Don't Get the Corner Office; Why Good Girls don't Get Ahead but Gutsy Girls Do; Feng Shui A-Z; The Lovely Bones.

Amelia Earhart, Nancy Harkness Love, Harriet Quimby (all female aviators). Pro-choice activists; The Dixie Chicks for saying what was on their minds amidst the controversy...My Aunt Sue; My mother, for not being afraid of speaking her mind; My father, for teaching me the value of a hard-earned dollar, how to be self-made and the value of a good work ethic; Whit Lakin - she was there for with me in France when I needed support the most; Hillary Clinton; et Les Professeures Dikka Berven et Nicole Buffard-O'Shea chez Oakland University - merci pour m'avoir ensieigné la belle langue qui s'appelle le français et merci pour m'avoir donné les informations dont j'ai eu besoin quand je suis allé en France. Je ne vous oublierai jamais!!
