FRIDAY KNIGHTS is a hip hop group from Tacoma, WA, that was formed in March 2004, by emcee J.DUB, and emcee/producer K.KRUSH. They started creating a local fan base by throwing and performing at their own, as well as other local house parties. MATT YATES, a long time friend, and emcee, officially joined the group in early 2006, right when the trio began performing at clubs in Tacoma. Since then, they have continued to build their fan base by rockin' crowds at local venues all around the puget sound area. In 2007, they had the opportunity to open for MICKEY AVALON, as well as BLUE SCHOLARS. In May 2008 they shared a stage with COMMON MARKET.
In January 2009, K.KRUSH left the group for personal reasons, so FRIDAYKNIGHTS recruited DJ REKLES from the 101 CRUE.
DJ REKLES has been involved in the local music scene for a long time. With knowledge and skills, he is a great addition to the group...MORE COMING SOON! PEACE!
