My dream is to be an entertainer in music, film, and television.
I started a record company two years ago, after I graduated from college. One of my inspirations for doing this was my aunt, Cecelia Fuller. She was a beautiful black woman who lived her life and enjoyed every moment. She was a nurse in Alabama and volunteered her time to the Sickle Cell community. I admired her because she had Sickle Cell, but know one knew unless she told them because it never showed on her face. She would go into a crisis one day and tomorrow she would be out planning a party. She never let her disability stand in the way of what she wanted to do. Therefore, I took her example and tried to take action, in the right direction.I majored in business management in hopes of pursuing my entrepreneur dreams. Music has always been my passion and my aunt Cecilia understood that. She supported me and encouraged me to go after my dreams and live each day as if it were my last.My aunt Cecelia was born on February the 17th, she also passed on February 17, 2000, from Sickle Cell Anemia. Although she is no longer here her spirit lives on in me. I wanted to do as she did, give back and follow my dreams. It came to me... I will start a record label like no other. It will benefit a charitable organization with the release of every album. The label will be named after my grandmother (kitty), Katz Eye Entertainment. My grandmother passed as well 2 years ago and the pain still has not faded away. She was and will always be a big part of my inspiration as well and I am disappointed that she will not be here in person to see her “baby girl†succeed.
