As a little girl I would ask God why he gave me such a challenging life. Why it was that I had to deal with all kinds of disappointments and struggles at such a young age. Then, as I grew up I began to believe that God gave me such a difficult life because he knew I was strong enough to not only survive it, but thrive from it. As I stand here today I am 100% sure that God knew exactly what he was doing and still does. I have been truly blessed with family, friends, and love. He has given me the strength to forgive those who have done wrong to me, as well as the strength to ask forgiveness from those I have done wrong to. He has abled my heart to love beyond what I ever thought I could, and to accept love in return. He has led me from darkness, and continuously restored my faith. His faith in me to weather the storms has brought me to greatness. Due to the obstacles placed before me I now am able to know the true meaning behind happiness and love. So, thankyou Lord for blessing me with an amazing family who always pulls through somehow, a man who truly loves me unconditionally despite my thousands of faults, friends who stand by my side regardless of how we are feeling about eachother at the time, and for a God who has truly saved me.
