Gaye Arbuckle is an anointed gospel recording artist from Dallas, Texas with an enriched style and talent that leaves you spiritually touched as she ministers in music and song. Gaye is currently the minister of music of Concord Missionary Baptist Church where she leads praise and worship every Sunday.Founder and president of the GMWA, the late Reverend James Cleveland in New Orleans, presented her to the gospel world at a very young age. Since that time, she has been a featured soloist on two GMWA albums, and featured soloist on the Mississippi Mass Choir album with the late Rev. James Moore, singing “Have Faith in God" and on Meeks Record/Pastor Clay Evans project singing “Oh how much He caresâ€.She sang and has appeared in opening performances for Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin, Vickie Winans, BeBe and CeCe Winans, Richard Smallwood, Rance Allen, Dorinda Clarke-Cole, Karen Clarke-Sheard, Darryl Coley just to name a few.Other accolades include, nominated for songwriter of the year, Runner-up for female vocalist of the year, Bobby Jones, sang “The National Anthem†for the Mavericks game, a featured soloist on Clichés (Greg O’Quin) singing “Unh-Unhâ€, †Take It To The Bridge", National Baptist Convention, Rhema Conferences, Ministry 2000, TBN, National Global Day of Prayer†toured Germany for 2 months, and other well-known assemblies and gatherings. These appearances were followed by a whirlwind of numerous guest appearances and other featured soloist invitations.A musician, songwriter in her own right, Gaye is also a vocal coach and enjoys functioning as a workshop clinician. Her music career catapulted immensely and quickly; and during this time, she began to gain national recognition. She is also a thespian with such plays as “the Night I fell in Love, Preachers Kids, and “The Spirit of Forgivenessâ€. Most importantly, she has released her album, recorded "live" in Dallas, Texas and produced by B&G Records entitled, "Miracles andBlessing". With her self-entitled release, "Gaye", this sophomore recording artist brings a flare of style to the music industry that transcends being label as "just gospel."
