Dj Psylence

Firstly i´m a dj , i don´t pretend to be a producer , i´m not a sound engineer or play an instrument but i've been following & supporting this music since 1991 , bedroom dj , club dj , also going raving in the early days of 1992 - 1994. I then moved to London & went to Fabio & Bukem's SPEED night , that was a mid-weekly session & it inspired me no-end. Soon after followed the legendary Metalheadz nights at the Blue Note , where you really felt this music was the most cutting-edge around.I eventually moved back to Ipswich where i worked in Redeye-records from 2000-2003 helping them strive to be one of the biggest dnb shops in the world, also hosting my own club nights. I then returned to London & worked at SRD & record reviewer for ST:Holdings & also reviewing 12"s for ATM magazine. I've recently moving out of london & now working full-time for St:Holdings as their rep & producing my own tunes.........I've had tunes played out by some of my favourite dj's in drum&bass ..notably my first ever tune i wrote in 2004 - IN HOUSE..this was played by 2 of the most influential people to me - Ltj Bukem & Fabio...also more recently people like Marcus Intalex, Breakage , Lee , Spirit & Flight have supported my music in clubs around the world. It's a long road drum&bass , as i'm sure it is in any field of music..and i sometimes wonder why i don't just move on , but there's a lure about DnB which i can't explain..i think it stems from being so inspired by it from artists like 4 hero , Goldie , Foul Play , Skanna , Ltj Bukem , Doc Scott , Wax Doctor , Photek , Marcus Intalex , Calibre etc.. as long as there are artists inspiring me i'll always be around it..& that's what i look for in this music , originality from the heart not a carbon copy to be a part of someone elses vision.
