About Me

**History** 2004-2005: In 2004 Digital Nightmare's original member Denis "Wolfman" Murphy and Thomas "Black Star" Coffin start Digital Nightmare. Remixing old Nintendo theme songs and creating original Rock Electro songs using FL Studios DN released their first self-titled album, with songs such as Bio-Dome, D.Y.E.B and Creepy Castle. 2006: In 2006 Digital Nightmare started to work on their second album Ups and Downs. This album was different sounding they their first self-titled album, it was more up beat and had faster danceable songs, but had a dark tone through out the album. Digital Nightmare work through out 2006 working on this album until it was finished in December. Mean while through out that year Denis had been working on some solo music for his Wolfman Project c.d. At the end of 06 DN finished up Ups and Downs. 2007: In 07 Digital Nightmare started work on there third and most poppy album called The Addictive Dance, this album was completely different from their first two recordings. The album had new featured artist that help produce and remix some of the new DN songs. The album featured artist such as, DJ Shovel.B, MD, Raymond White and Jeremiah Popp. The album had the shortest track listing out of all three albums. In late 2007 Denis and Thomas, stopped communicating with each other due to business with other projects and some personal issues happening at that current time. 2008: In the middle of 2008 Thomas Martin-Coffin decided to re-vamp the Digital Nightmare idea, but this time changing the musical style and sound. Also there would be a first in DN history the introduction of a live band making and performing songs. Thomas enlisted the help of some close friends of his to help with the new direction he was taking Digital Nightmare in. Petra Chaffey, Trevor Russell (Cold Mourning) and Andrew Bowers (DJ Dain) where asked to contribute to the new Digital Nightmare. Petra Chaffey has been assigned duties on the keyboard, Trevor Russell will have Percussion duties and Andrew Bowers not being a set member in the band but asked to help with remixing and sampling. Late 2008 Trevor Russell left due to some personal issues going on in his life, he parted ways with DN on good terms. 2009-Future Digital Nightmare are excepting a busy year in 09. DN heads in to a recording studio for the first time to lay down the track for Prodigy of the Saint, their 4th album to date. With the help of friend and amazing artist this album looks to be the best album they have released. Chris Ryan has agreed to help with guitar and bass duties on certain tracks on the album, Jonathan Kehoe will take on guitar duties on certain tracks on the new album as well. Mark Adams (MD) will be assisting in Production and will be mixing the track Fatal Messenger. Digital also would like to welcome Mikey Ga. to the Nightmare Alliance as our web designer. Also Digital Nightmare are working on a Remix album, which is encouraging other artist to remix DN's music they will be working on this album through-out the year. The future is looking promising and positive for DN and their fans. Writing of Prodigy of the Saint started and is in full force. Thomas and Petra are working hard together on releasing this new album with in the following year or so. They enlisted the help of 4 additional artist to help with the recording of this album. Steve Dillon (the Satans and Squid Kid) will be assisting on bass duties on certain track, Billy Clarke (On Arrival) will be assisting on drum, Jake Yetman (Faith in Ruins, We Eat Rainbows) will assist on lead guitar and Bernard Antle will also have drum duties. Recording will begin later this year. Dean Martin and Jordon Lilly (Faith in Ruins) will be appearing on the album as guest vocalist. DN will also be looking to put together a live band for live performances, this process will being with in the next few months as Digital Nightmare prepare to get things ready to tour and play shows. 2009 will lead to re-releasing of Digital Nightmare first album. This album will be revamped with a great new sound. It will feature past and present friends of Digital Nightmare.
