The idea of Homelake was born in the autumn 2003. After movin out to the countryside I wrote a cupple of songs that didnt fit the rockband where I was singin at that time. So I formed some kind of soloproject wich I desided to call Homelake. Homelake (Hemsjö) is the name of the village where I live.The idea of Homelake is to make minimalistic and verry direct musik. I dont want to use anything moore than it takes to catsh a feeling.In the summer of 2004 Homelake recorded two records: "Countrygirl" and "Salvation". The recordings where made in my house live and direct with only one microphone. We never produced the records. This is how we sounded there and then.Homelake have had a lot of gigs arround the western parts of Sweden.The new songs are now recorded, after a 30-hours-session in my livingroome. The new record was relesed in fall 2008.
