About Me

Rick just completed 5 pieces of classical music for the Harrison Institute at the University of Virginia library. The music is used as the music bed for a 20 minute presentation showcasing maps from the 16 to 18 century. The maps are part of the Dr. Schwartz collection.Guitarist, Keyboardist, Producer/Engineer for:Fallen AngelMood 627Digital BuddhaHard Luck KingsEvolving MechanicsCyberiaArchitects of the AtmosphereAs well as composer/ sound designer for several directors and producers in the theater scene in Pittsburgh. Ricks favorite was composing and performing music written for Shakespeare's "As You Like It" produced by Carlow College. Rick was approached by the original producers of "Garrett the Blue Giraffe" to license some his music for the dance sequences in the show. The play was performed in Pittsburgh and new York and is now being turned into an opera.Rick has worked with: The Pittsburgh Nude Project as a composer,With David Rullo as composer/co-producer of various "Architects of the Atmosphere" albums,Was the Guitarist and Producer of "The Hard Luck Kings" CD "One More for the Road."Currently Rick is writing and releasing solo material in a variety of genres. Progressive Rock and Space Rock are two of his favorite genres to work in. Rick started his own label using as an online distributor. Rick is also busy with writing music for Ships on Fire visual projects created by Louis Spry.
