About Me

MyHotComments

I am not so easily definable. What can I say I am an individual. I am a thinker, a student, a mom, a wife, a friend, sister, daughter...I would consider myself a lifetime learner. I am a passionate person. I give my all to everything I do and try to make the most out of all I can. I love learning about the philosophy of others. I am still a little wild and crazy at times. I am so many things. I am a little country, my family is from Arkansas. I love nature and the outdoors, animal life, a fresh breeze, the smell of rain and fresh cut grass; which is probably why I chose science as my field of study. I chose education because I love learning. Human development is one of my passions. Children, as they say, are our future; but way to often they are left on the back burn of our society. I love young minds, who people are before they are altered by adulthood. And, I also understand how things can affect young minds. I guess most of all I am just grateful to the good Lord for all I have been blessed with and been able to take from my experiences. I am most thankful for my family. My husband Greg, or Skittles depending on the group of friends you know us from, and I have been together coming on 10 years. We have been married 6 of those. We have definitely been through a lot and have grown tremendously through our years together. He is my constant. He is the only one that can handle all the faces that make up the me that I am. I love him. We welcomed our first child on December 23, 2006. She is an incredible being and the greatest thing I will every give to this earth. Alysa LeeAnn has and continuously gives me a life altering joy and experience. There is nothing great than she. I love every, and yes I do many every, single moment of being her mom. Everything, whatever I accomplish and experiences in this life, will forever pale in comparison to her. retro layout powered by HOT FreeLayouts.com / MyHotComments

I'd like to meet:

Random people. Chatting about nothing and every thing all at once. People who have experienced life and come from different walks of life. People who can enlighten me with something new and can intelligently provide their points of view. Anyone from the young to old from the most educated to the barely literate, everyone has something to say, even if saying nothing at all....

Music:

It is part of the soul, what I like changes with every mood, Everything and almost any thing, Fiona Apple, Corine Baily Raye, Missy Elliot, Christina Aguliera, Staind, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, James Taylor, Keith Urban, Anna Nalick, Timbaland, Pink, Maroon 5, System of a Down, Jo dee Messina, Kelly Clarkson, hip-hop, country, alternative/rock, Soul, R&B, There isn't any genre I don't enjoy, I listen to whatever suits me at the moment.

Movies:

300, Never Ending Story, Shrek, Bridget Jones Diaries, any thing with: Will Farrell, Drew Barrymore, Johnny Depp, Adam Sandler. I love comedies and dramas. I love movies that keep me guessing until the end. I hate the predictable.

Television:

I have never been one to really keep up with what's on when. Being home so much now with baby girl I have been watching my fill. I like Reba, I know I am a total dork but it's really funny. I am getting burn out on the Law and Orders and CSIs, which I use to really enjoy when I had the time to watch them. I try to catch Grey's Anatomy, Desperate House Wives, The Family Guy, Brothers and Sisters, Medium, and Nip Tuck, when I remember they are on. I have to admit I've been keeping up with the Real World to. I also enjoy the discovery and nature channels. I love learning about ocean life and human development. These clips are from Mad TV. Dot cracks me up

Books:

I enjoy reading and will read any thing. I read magazines from cover to cover. I love novels; I can get lost in almost any book. I love being able to escape everything around me. The sad thing is I get so into what I am reading that I won't stop until I finish the book or pass out. I ignore all else until I finish the book. I can't afford to allow myself to even think about pick up a novel during semester because I won't keep up with my work and will spend my available sleep time reading. I only allow myself to read during the summer and even then I have to limit or my house gets really scary. I don't have any particle author, book, or magazine inparticular that I like more than others. I enjoy cooking and decorating magazines, historical novels, romance novels, Non-fiction autobiographies, research articles, teen literature, ...on and on. Last book I read:

Heroes:

I can't say that any one individual is my hero. Everyone has done some thing they can be proud of. We also all have done things we would hate to admit doing. I think heroes are those who can choose to do the kinder, selfless things more often than not. It takes a big person to continually give and never receive, and truly enjoy it being so. I can admit that I am not that person. I try to be. I want to grow to be that person that gives it all for the sake of others and nothing else.a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"

What is Life, one answer to the question

Life cannot be defined by the masses. It is to vast and diverse to be so easily contained in one definition.  I believe, you, me, all individuals, we define our own lives as we live them.  W...
