FULL SPEED AHEAD8, or FSA8 for short (the 8 is silent but it represents the only One who is infinite. we ain't stoppin'.), is a future edutainment powerhouse that was born out of the ashes of the tragedy of 9-11 and the Iraqi war. AFTER serving in Iraq in '03, N. Allen Craig (NACNIFI, group manager) and Jamieson Woodley (GODSMAN..lyricist) were both kicked out of the Army for an incident that the "powers that be" labled as misconduct that occured BEFORE the war (if that ain't frsit degree rape, i don't know what is). They couldn't keep these soldiers down though. It didn't take long before God had turned this great negative blow that was meant to destroy them into an opportunity greater than they could have ever imagined.
When they got out, they decided to stay in Germany. This is where God did what he does best. He took their hopless situation and turned it into what will be a voice of hope for billions across the world; FSA8 was born. They brought aboard good friend and lyricist Quincy A. Hall (D Nekawa Luos) and the three men went to work. They created a CD that sold pretty well in Germany. They did shows and promotion basically trying to get their name out, and they got alot of love in return. Europe was good to FSA8.
After a year and a half, they made their way back home. They basically have been laying low and perfecting everything until now. They're a patient group, but they work hard. They can still often be found in the studio making hits. In fact that's what prompted them to create this page, so that they could finally present some of the songs that they have been sitting on to the world.
All three of the men feel that our future is in grave danger because of the state of mind of today's kids that will one day be leading us. They feel that this is greatly because of the negativity that they are being fed through the entertainment industry. Everyone knows that kids spend hours upon hours watching T.V. and listening to whatever the powers that be deem to be "hot" music. And since the parents seem not to have the time, the kids are being raised by what they see and hear. Since it doesn't seem that the parents are ever going to take charge, FSA8 has made it their mission to change what is seen and heard, at least as far as hip-hop is concerned.
Since the debut of N.W.A. about 20 years ago, hip-hop has had a gangsta' mentality. That's been 20 years of rappers telling you how hard they are, and how many guns they have, and how big those guns are, and how many bullets they can put in their extended clips, and how many keys they move, and how many birds they flipped, and how many bids they did in prison, and how many ho's they pimped, blah blah blah blah blah...Frankly, people are sick of it, and the only reason that people still listen is because they don't have a choice. That's where FSA8 steps in. They will finally provide a positive alternative to the garbage that is being pumped into our kids minds on a dailly basis. Some might say "well their have been positive rappers before and they didn't really make an impact". They must have forgotten about OUTKAST. Based only on there accomplishments they're the greatest hip-hop group in history, and if they did not impact anyone else, they impacted FSA8 by using the gift that God gave them in the way He intended them to use it when He created them.
