threeREASONS... is going buh-bye
threeREASONS was started a few years back after the break up of the Bad Larry's. Former bass player of the band Matt "The Cat" Lanteigne bought himself a drum set and has romped his way to becoming the human metronome. Bill Einstein of DrumPlayer said, "The way Matt Lanteigne plays the drums makes me want to rip off my ears and throw them in acid because if his steady beats are the last thing that I ever hear than I can die in peace." Accompanying Matt is his partner in rhythm crime Eddie "The Mailman" Culkins. And just like Karl Malone, he delivers. Eddie was the last piece of the threeREASONS puzzle but certainly not the least piece. Since Eddie began playing the Bass six minutes ago he has defined a generation with his style, grace and sheer good lookingness. John W. Gacy of BassPlayer says, "Eddie has defined a generation with his style, grace and sheer good lookingness." Fans of the band couldn't agree more. Playing graceful solos over beauteous bass lines is Jon "The Hawk" Hawthorne. Jon has been playing the guitar for seven years but his fans would say he sounds like he has been playing for two years. His intensity on stage can only be descibed as awe inspiring. I.P. Frehly of GuitarPlayer said, "threeREASONS would be much better off without Jon. Maybe they could replace him with a mannequin or a goat, because I would contend that either could play the guitar betterly." Completing this quartet is Paul "Pope" Bowolick. He lends his angelic vocals and Shakespearean like song writing to the band. Ron Skoadiak of VocalPlayer was quoted as saying, "When I hear Paul sing at dive bars I want to immediately run home and make sweet love to a pillow cushion or an empty Pringles canister." With rave reviews and a ravenous following of devoted fans surely threeREASONS is destined for greatness.
