The ashtrey's full, and I'm splilling my guts.

About Me

My name is Alex Amaya and I'm the kind of girl you'll never forget.I currently live in an apartment with my big brother and attend a community college nearby. I love art more than anything in the world. I get a kick out of going to art supply stores and totally in love with art in general. I have weird friends and a strange taste in music. I have a spunky personality with a sarcastic boldness to match cleverly. I love my parents, and I'm learning more every day. I'm extremely open to new ideas and love meeting new people. You never know who's going to end up being your best friend.[LOVEMYFLASH]

My Interests

I really just love listening to music all day, and I love to draw. I am currently enrolled in Painting and Drawing I so that's extremely exciting for me. Also, Im am in an Environmental science class and club that has me very interested in the world. I'm not really sure what I want to pursue yet but I know it's going to be big. If I had a choice I would love to be a professional student. I love to learn and explore my abilities. My dream is to one day live in Cali and get to take pictures of my favorite models along with editing and designing for companies. I really don't ever intend to be famous, but I do wish to succeed in the design field.

I'd like to meet:

Micelle X Star-big photographer in cali who is 36 an has a portfolio bigger than my apartment. Audrey Kitching+Clint Catalyst-my FAVORITE models, Johney Depp, Tim Burton, Jim Carey, Brandon Boyd-Typical famous people. I would love to meet a bunch of dead people though- Jim Morrison, Fredy Murcurey, Edgar Allen Poe, John Lennon Bob Marley, & **El Che** But I try to take the best from every social experience so I'm always up for an interesting conversation.View Blog | View Pics | Add Comment

Music:

I have a very mixed taste in music. You will love that band and hate the other! I'm into a lot of classic rock like The Doors, Pink Floyd, Queen and I have an undying fetish for the Beatles. As far as more modern music goes, I LOVE The deftones, Gorillaz, Nine Inch Nails, A Perfect Circle, Deep Dish, Prodigy, Yoko Kanno, Cake, System of A Down, Shiny Toy Guns, Incubus, My Chemical Romance, Coheed and Cambria, She Wants Revenge,Static-X, Weezer, Blink 182, Audioslave, Postal Service, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Mindless Self Indulgence, Interpol, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the sounds, Benny Benassi, Mutemath, The Cranberries, a lil bit of the Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, The offspring, Sublime I'm not really into anything on the radio these days I just listen to my iPod almost all day.BANDS I HATE!!!!!!: Hinder, most country bands, most rap (too thugnasty for me. . . ) Hmm I'm sure there's more but that's just the line I wish to set. Also I love a lot of random songs, like Gary Jules "Mad World", lot of 90's hits like Filter's "Take a picture", Third Eye Blind's "Hows It Gonna Be" & "Jumper", Hole's "Doll Parts".,Tonic's "If You Could Only See", also Train's "Drops of Jupiter", Candlebox's "Far Behind". Puddle of Mud's "Blurry", and well you get the drift.

Movies:

This is tough, I'm really bad at remembering titles, but lets see. . . Tenacious D and the POD changed my life. I know Liar Liar by heart. I still have a lion king blanket I still sleep with at night from 95. I swear it's the most comfortable blanket I've ever had, I can never see myself getting rid of it. My favorite Anime Movie have got to be Ghost in the shell. I love movies that make you think outside the box: the Matrix Trilogy, Children of Men, Equilibrium, The Machinist, V for Vendetta ofcourse and there are movies I saw while I was living in Mexico that were really good, but I can't remember the names of them for the life of me. COMEDY: Any movie with Dane Cook is awesome. I love Jack Black, Ben Stiller (Although he disappointed me in Tropic Thunder), and Owen Wilson is really starting to grow on me. I love Jim Carey and hopefully I'll be able to catch his serious films because I have yet to see them. Also there are tons of really popular movies I haven't seen for example: I've never seen Forest Gump, (list is still in progress I can't remember the films)

Television:

I still don't watch much TV. I don't really own one. . . . I used to be so glued to the TV but now I just feel it's a waste of time. Sometimes when they do the "America's Next Top Model" I get addicted for like half a freaggin day when they just show the whole season, but nothing too serious. I don't schedule my life around a lineup, that's dumb. If I like it enough, then I'll buy it. I hate reality TV shows usually but sometimes I get suckered into things like Girls Next Door. Can't help but laugh at the bimbos sometimes. Oh yeah and sometimes I watch the Soup or Chelsea Lately with my brother. (Bonding time :P)

Books:

I wish I read more, but I really like reading biography books on people like Jim Morrison. I currently want to pick up biographies for Bob Marley, El Che, and John Lenon. I like philosophy a lot. I'm not a huge Theology person. I think religion's dumb, but God is love. So I like reading about radicals that want to change the world.

Heroes:

That has to be my mom because she put up with a lot of things she didn't have to. I have a lot of respect for anyone who do things out of love rather than their own ambitions. I want to be someone who is as sacrificial as the people who have shown unconditional love to me. I am greatly inspired by my youth pastor Michael Pigg as well. He has help me own my own beliefs and I think I'll become a better person because he asked all the right questions.
