Coming soon to a country near you!

About Me

I AM HOME! I have just returned after being in Europe for 7 months. I went to 22 countries during the first three months, lived and worked in Rome at a hostel and for a pub-crawl, and then back-tracked into some countries that I had wanted to explore further during that last month I was there. I am working as a server at Applebee's paying back some debt from medical bills that I accrued, and then I will save for my next adventure! I am currently contemplating my next move...will it be Asia? Australia? South America? Maybe all of them... I am open-minded about everything, and have developed into a charismatic and out-going individual. I graduated from Sonoma State University with my degree in English Literature (usefull, I know...), and somehow ended up managing a restaurant. I love to meet new people, and to chat with old friends, so drop me a line anytime~about anything!Side Note - a response to Luner's question about what consists of a pub-crawl: In Rome I advertised to a ton of people every day using flyers which instructed then to meet in front of a church at 1700 (9:00 pm). There, for 15 Euros ($20) they drank as much beer, wine, whiskey, and vodka as they wanted. After that I took them by foot to 4 different pubs, where they recieved a free shot upon entry at every bar as well as a 2 Euro discount on every drink ordered. At the end of the night I took them to a dance club where they got free entry (15 Euros), but no discounts on drinks. All in all people paid me money to take them around and get drunk with them... ;P

My Interests

Going out with everyone on the weekends (when I actually have some time off), COOKING, Acting, Piano playing, Theatre, Backpacking in the wilderness, Backpacking through Europe, reading a good novel, movies, debating, theology, philosophy, English, journalism, as well as many, MANY other things. One interest I would like to be able to pursue: dancing - someone help! :O

I'd like to meet:

Interesting, cultured, open-minded people who are fun to hang with, and yet can hold a decent conversation.

Music:

I love music in general. I can almost appreciate any music I hear for its artistic value, at the very least. I usually don't gravitate towards rap or country, but even there I still can find at least something I like.

Movies:

I like too many movies to name! I haven't been able to see many movies lately because I have been living in non-English speaking countries... Princess Bride, Labrynth, Pirrates of the Carribean, X-Men 2, Finding Nemo, Dark City, Willow, Gattica, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and on, and on...

Television:

I don't watch a lot of tv, but when I did I watched shows like Quantum Leap, VR5, ER, Forever Knight, Due South, etc etc.

Books:

The Belgariad and The Mallorean series, The Incarnations of Immoratality series, Lord of the Rings, Xanth (The first few), Sword of Truth series, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and on, and on.

Heroes:

Those who have travelled the world and have expanded their minds and awareness doing so.
