Music:
I like a collage of music. I can tolerate just about anything, and enjoy even more. As I grow older, I find I lean towards artists like Vivian Green, Dido, Norah Jones and the like. There is the part of me that loves Hip Hop/R&B and Rap. My husband has turned me on to a liking for Hippy music. LOL I do need to say; however, I like it in small doses. Green Day, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Disturbed, etc...... Name a band. If I know them, I will probably like them. If I don't, play it, and I'll probably like them.
Movies:
Ahhh movies. I am prone to what society terms "chick flicks." I also have a fondness for comedy. I 'love' to 'laugh'. Action movies are fun to watch. Horror/thriller isn't something I have found to enjoy. I have a strange pull towards the dumb and mindless (Napoleon Dynamite and the like). I can't think of what my all-time favorite movie is at the moment. It was for the longest time, Animal House. But then, there is the Godfather...
Television:
Is there anything better then Law and Order... ...yes. Law and Order SVU, or Criminal Intent, or... ...Conviction Rocks.
Books:
Farenheit 451, Of Mice and Men, Wuthering Heights... My new all time favorite book is a MUST READ: Three Cups of Tea by David Relin in conjunction with Greg Mortenson. It is life changing as far as I'm concerned. One person can make a difference in one of the most difficult regions in the world, the Middle East.
Heroes:
My Grandmother (rest her soul) and Granddaddy. My Aunt Molly. They have given me more then they could ever imagine. My children; they perservere. And Dave... ...may he always give me the handup and the encouragement to continue. I love him!
