About Me

So I was told by this drunk lady in a bar down at the Flats a long, long time ago when I was a kid that your thirties are with out a doubt the best decade in your life,"Sure thing drunk chicka, you're not aware of my current life style, if it gets better then this it would be shameful!" Never thought much about it after that until now. How does the saying go??? "A drunken mans words are a sober mans thoughts." It's either that or drunk chicks are much wiser then one might think! LOL Lost and found, learned and learned some more, discovered some unknown talents, surrendered some beliefs, and gave up a life long position to persue a new challenging career!(Thanks you guys, I couldn't have done it without you!) Aside from that, I'm an average guy; the all inclusive type, who is enjoying the ride. Uncomplicated and easy going, a simple man with simple tastes; although I can shock ya from time to time:-) I like lots of things, sports, shows, friends, bars, motocross,Italian reds(wine that is) out door activities, being a father to my two boys, etc. Come in, stay a while I won't bite ;-)

My Interests

Biggest of all would be laughs. Any time I can persue something that can make me giggle is alright by me. Motocross, for the sense of freedom it yields, by allowing me to push my personal limits just a bit more. Camping, for the peace and good times with nature and friends. Snowboarding, gotta like going down a mountain when it's cold and dark. Wine festivals when they come(no joke)and people.As well as all the usual stuff like............ancient ruins, numerology, bio-engineering,pre-victorian sculpture, asian textile art, and the life of Barry Manilow, LOL I just wantd to see if anybody reads this stuff.I must confess It would be nice to be shown some new ones from a different culture.

Music:

How to answer this one. I like lots of stuff and I'd say my taste in music is very eclectic to say the least. In my truck you would find Rev. Horton Heat, Eeka Mouse, John Mayer,Joe Jackson, Judybats, Rollins Band, old Metallica, Beatles, Crack The Sky, Jack Johnson, Cat Stevens, Four Tops, Triumph,INXS,,,,,,,,,,,,In the MP3 player Cyanotic, Nitzer ebb, Front 242, Rammstein, Minisrty, tool, el nino,NIN, KMFDM...............................and disco when no one is lookin' late night at the station LOL, but I have a taste for jazz and I'll confess I've been to the Myerhoff a time or two or three to see the BSO sooooo you tell me LOL

Movies:

Without a doubt Shawshank Redemption, Favorite of all time. Pulp Fiction being a close second, if for any reason, the one liners you can use. I'd also have to put Heat in the list as well, just a cool guy movie I guess. Other then that I like comedys the most, soooooooo all the classic ones for sure, I do miss the all day drunken Fletch parties we used to have down the ocean when I was younger :-)

Television:

NIP/TUCK..................................man that show just freaks me out!!!!!! I can't watch it, but I have to. Make any sense??

Books:

Favorite of all time The Road Less Traveled. What a book to read if you would like to discover the true self, I do try live in such a way as much as I can, but hey I'm only human! To be honest I haven't had time to read much besides text books, work books, safty manuals, spec books,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,blah blah blah OH Yeah, and a Rookie Book soon to come :-( NO I didn't read the Da Vinci Code and In all honesty I have not met any male who has LOL and if they did, they better turn in their man card!!!!!

Heroes:

This is an easy one. It may not sound as manly as it should but I would have to say my Nana, which is Italian for Grandmother. Lucy is with out a doubt the most selfless, giving, and famliy oriented person I have ever known. Always serving and caring for others, and never complainig about the short comings In life. The kind of person who says what she means and does what she says. A person whos efforts behind the scenes, make it possible for others to be seen. The foundation with which my family has rested upon for soooo many years
