The Mystic Seer

About Me

The Mystic Seer is a Progressive Rock/Experimental project that started as a means for me to express my ideas. It has since grown into, not only a vehicle for my own ideas, but also as a vehicle for ideas for my current band, Twilight Shadow. My goal is to create music that is very emotional and descriptive. I read a review of an early King Crimson concert that reported that members of the audience were crying because of the emotional impact of the music. That is what I am striving for.

Rollover Minuet

I was experimenting with the Minuet form and this is what came out of it. I think it is a fun little piece. I hope you enjoy it.

In Perpetual Pursuit Of...? - part I

This piece has, for the most part, been completed for many months. It took awhile for enough free time to present itself, so I could finish it off. Many of us are pursuing different things in life. So...

Mysterious Clouds

Ascension

This piece is dedicated to my mom, Nancy, who passed away on April 7th. Most of this piece began as an improvisation that I recorded after returning home from the visitation for my Mom. It is a simple...

Mantra - Remix

Not only is this a remix of Mantra, but it is also a slightly different version. There were some things about the original piece that I was never completely satisfied with. The drum part has been redo...

Alone - Remix

I have just completed and posted a newly mixed version of Alone. I feel this is vastly superior to the original mix. I hope you enjoy it. P.S. A remix version of Mantra will follow soon.
