Winner of the Bronze Telly, 2000 Natural Law (NL) with Mary Jo Christian and images of Tibet and Iraq by Frank Craven3. In 1996, I ran for US Senate in the state of New Jersey.4. In 1989, I began the fight that stopped Westinghouse from building a massive garbage incinerator in Monmouth County, New Jersey by founding the Monmouth County Citizens for Clean Air & Water with Rupert Ravens and David Kolar. On June 20, 1990, Fred Munson of Greenpeace, Madelyn Hoffman of NJ Toxics and Susan Mazzocchi came to our aid. The citizens of the county had an opportunity to vote on this issue and we won our fight. The citizens spent $35,000 and Westinghouse spent half a million dollars and were reimbursed by the Monmouth County taxpayers thanks to Harry Larrison.
