Beachey, 90, died unexpectedly on February 8, 2008 at the Elliott Hospital in Manchester, NH. She was born August 17, 1917, daughter of the late John and Minnie (Waldron) Maynard. Bessie lived most of her life in Raymond, NH. To her family, she was the selfless caretaker and constant giver. She mostly loved time spent with her grandchildren. Bessie enjoyed gardening and flowers, especially roses. She was pre deceased by her husband of 42 years, Paul Beachey, who died in 1984. Mrs. Beachey was a former Sunday school teacher and member of the Raymond Congregational Church. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Richard Castle of Nottingham, NH, her and her son, Mark Beachey, four grandchildren, Lisa Woods, Joseph Woods Jr., Shawn Woods, and Wade (Worster) Castle, and a special family friend, Lisa Proulx of Nottingham, NH. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 from 6:00-9:00 PM at the Brewitt Funeral Home, Epping, NH. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Epping Community Church. Spring burial will be in the New Pine Grove Cemetery, Raymond, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the NH Alzheimer's Association, NH Office, One Bedford Farms Dr., Suite 105, Bedford, NH 03110.
