Home of the Dope Mellow Sounds?? Thats right dope and mellow. Sometimes obtrusive but always chill. Someone told me you can either drive your car and bump dms shit while you're on the way to pick up that half a pound or you can be in a club with all your friends shooting the shit. Where ever you are you too can enjoy some fresh new tunes. Dms started out as dead music society. Dead meaning used old record that have been out for years. sampling all sorts of stuff. That was kind of limiting to me since i realized you can only do but so much with a sample. Then i got a check from j-live for a rhyme and bought my first keyboard. The roland xp 50 which happened to make the first spymusic lp the start of something big. Now dms had a chance to grow. Facing the fact that no one gets my music i decided to rename it dope mellow sounds. Really it means do my shit. i say that because i dont like to get caugt up into trends making music so i just do my shit. That 1 2 type hip hop, That boom bap shit. So now I'm at the point where i know who i am and i know what i want it to sound like. Now a second mind brings it all together. Mskiastar, Brains, Beauty and all the kindness and charm in the world. Along with the expertise of myself and jon solo, dms country has been talked about as being one of the next labels to make quality music thats never going to be dated.
