I am a 27 year old male born and raised in Old Tappan NJ now have an apartment in Hoboken. I graudated magna cum laude from Dominican college in May 08 after battling several illnesses. I am now fighting crohns disease and also on IV treatment once every 2 weeks. I am furthering my career by getting into real estate management. I love sports and am at every every home game of the three time Stanley Cup winning NJ Devils. As well as a lot of their away games. I am also a die hard fan of the 1986, 1990, and 2008 superbowl champs NY Giants as well as a die hard fan of the 1969, 1986 and 2006 NL East division. I am also at every ny mets and giants home game and many of their away games as well.I was diagnosed with a disease called colitis when I was 9 yrs old. I had to have my colon removed at the age of 14 and spent two years in and out of hospitals and the first two years of highschool on home tutoring. I was able to finish high school on time. However, I also have celiac disease which is an allergic allergy against wheat products. A few yrs ago my stomach electrical system stopped functioning and I was diagnosed with gastroparesis where I had to live on a feeding tube for 6 mnths because I could not eat anything. Two years my thryoid started to fail and I was told I have to take medicine for that to. I am on a lot of medicines daily. However I remain very active and try to live one day at a time never knowing what tommorrow might bring. My philosphy on life is Don't give up Don't ever give up. I know things can be much worse for me even through I have been through my share of struggles. In Dec 2005 I gave a speech infront of 1200 people at the Hyatt Regency hotel in NYC about the effects of colitis. In my spare time besides going to games and hanging out with friends, I visit sick childeren in the hospital because I know how tough their life can be since I have had the experience of suffering what they went through. Again I am committed to finishing college this may and furthing my career. Last year I was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome. I am a 25 year old male blonde hair blue eyes 5-11 about 200lbs athlectic built, very caring, very sweet to be around, and very kind. I am an avid tennis and hockey player. Of course how can I forget my best friend since we were 2 yrs old Adam from Alpine. Finally, Adam's gf Lauren she and Adam are 2 of the best friends I have ever had and who always visited me in the hospital and who were both their at 3 am at Mt. Sinai Hospital in NYC to comfort my family when the doctors told my parents my life was in jeopardy. Adam and Lauren thanks for always being there for me.
