The day Jimi turned 18, he had no other plans then to hit the clubs and dance for hours on end. Inspired and curious about what he kept seeing the DJ do in the booth, he bought his first pair of tables shortly after. Practicing and doing house parties almost every weekend with Aaron Lee was his first taste of "gigs". Self-teaching, lots of time, practice and mistakes would get him where he is today. Since then, he has played such clubs as Nikki Beach in South Beach (WMC 2005), M-Bar in NYC, Cubik (formerly Buzz), Five, Sonar, BURN at the LOFT in DC (LOVE) at Love, 1223, Rendezvous Lounge, Blueroom, Gua-Rapo and past residencies include holding a bi-monthly residency at Sonar in Baltimore as well as a weekly residency at HOME Nightclub every Friday.
He has played alongside DJ's such as DJ Rap, The Lawnchair Generals, East Coast Boogiemen, Rees Urban, DJ Duane (San Diego), Thomas Blondet, Miggz from NYC and other great talent in the DC and Baltimore area. With musical influences that include Johnny Fiasco, Marlon D, ECB, Tom B., LCG, Greenskeepers, Fred Everything, Kerri Chandler, Dennis Ferrer, The Craftsman, Mr. V., as well as Halo & Hipp-e, Jimi is sure to make you sweat it out on the dancefloor.
