Rain

Rain is a six piece classic rock band based in the north-west UK. Rain have been around since 1982 off and on and reformed in early 2004 following revived local interest in the rock music scene.Rain regularly play a number of venues in and around Cheshire, Shropshire, Lancashire and north Wales. The band mixes some of the less over played, but nevertheless challenging classic rock songs from the 70's, 80's 90's and noughties in the vein of Free, Whitesnake, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Status Quo, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Van Halen, Metallica, Alice Cooper, Yngwie Malmsteen, Judas Priest, Doors, Ozzy, Ted Nugent, Gary Moore, Thin Lizzy, Bon Jovi and many more. The band have a large back catalgue of original as well as new material which is given a fair airing at most gigs.Rain excel at twin lead guitar aerobatics, but aditionally have two vocalists which enables the band to cover a far greater range of material in a large number of different styles, than most other bands.The band exists because every member enjoys what the band does, and everyone treats it as a fun thing to do, whilst remaining highly professional in outlook.
