GUTTA MAGAZINE

About Me

Gutta is a new print and online magazine. At the mo We`re working on our 5th issue which features, Joe, Robin Thicke, Musiq, Drummerboy, and Natzs2Nice. Our last issue is available to download from our website, www.guttamagazine.co.uk and features Cham, Lupe Fiasco, Beenie Man, Nasty Crew, Alesha Dixon, Shawn Emmanuel, Keisha White, Shereen, Johnta Austin, fashion label Funk- West and models Nadine, Paola and Rachel We are always looking for interviews with up and coming urban UK artists, models and fashion designers and like to mix the US with the UK, but give bigger feature to the UK. If you`re interested let me know.
Gutta`s an urban lifestyle magazine, for male and females between the ages of 16-30 catering for the streets but in a way that is accessible for everyone. We are keeping it real ( and we actually know what it means) Gutta is a lifestyle magazine for urban youths, growing up in the urban culture. We educate people on what urban is, not what the media tells us. We know urban is the new buzz word and alot of things have come and go, but we are here to stay. What`s so different about us? We have the youths attention, and keep they`re attention by being real, serious, funny but still educational and all this with immense style.
Gutta has pages and pages of exclusive interviews with the leading artists in the UK urban scene which is R&B through to Grime, and has columns by influential people in the scene who want to be part of Gutta Magazine.
Gutta introduces talented artists from the UK and the US, but mainly UK that are finding it hard to get their foot in the door or are about to blow and gives them the stage to tell the world what they are about, mixing this with established acts who have been performing for years like Blak Twang, Ms Dynamite, Alesha Dixon and So Solid etc.
Gutta also has real life stories, from people about real life situations and issues, such as violence, jealously, scandal through to prison life but with a positive message. In the urban community there are alot of negative stereotypes. Here at Gutta we want to show the positive, to highlight this further we also have a section where we interview positive role models in the community and profile people, past and present who have succeed in life.
Gutta has an exclusive and extensive fashion section for males and females, detailing urban fashion labels such as Baby Phat, Gavin Douglas, Funk-West and Wale Adeyemi that are dictating British street culture, and has in depth interviews with these designers, as well as up and coming UK designers who are seeking much needed exposure.
