Well, hello. You've stumbled onto the profile of me, Jay. Pleased to meet you.
I'm 19 and live in the land of Stockport.
I work at a primary school as a "midday assistant". Yes, I am a dinner lady.
I'm tall. I'm pale. I need glasses. I am rather geeky. But I'm happy.
I love going to gigs. Even when my boyfriend Benn makes me move so he can see the drum kit better.
I'm a bit old fashioned but I like being different so it doesn't really bother me. I like Guinea Pigs and going on walks. I also like visiting Ikea for breakfast and watching DVDs. I like to geek-out to Jonathan Creek and QI - especially when I can record them on the DVR (my new toy.)
My best friend is Benn and he is awesome. My other best friends are Carl, who is my little bro (he's 6ft 4in you can't really call him "little"....). Then there's Beef he is wicked-cool and Chris "Christ" Miller. No party is ever complete without the legendary Aikman of course but all my friends know exactly who they are so I'm not going to spend all of eterntity (well three minutes....) mentioning each one.
Music always makes me feel better. I used to listen to one album over and over and over until Benn's ears bled. But since I now have a phone that plays music, I just play the same 40 songs that I could be bothered to load over and over and over in the same order instead.
I think vinyl is the sex.
I can talk a lot of rubbish. I can go on forever about my chosen subject. You probably won't have a clue what I'm on about. You are not alone.
I love taking pictures. Not just because I am vain and like to bish them onto MySpace (edit: well I probably was actually....) - I like to capture the moment and have it forever to refesh my memory. Every six months I turn them into a DVD. Noone can take away your memories, so cherish them. Here are some memories I'd like to share with you, you lucky person:
