I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Clean and sober and lovin' life 'cause it is a trip and a half. I love every day as a gift and am grateful to be a allowed to draw breath. My favorite life lesson is from the first Robert Heinlein book I ever Read "TANSTAAFL." My favorite line from a movie is from Risky Business... "Every once in a while you just have to say what the fuck..." Gentle is better than rough. Nice is harder than mean but nice has never cost me anything... being mean has cost me big-time. I love blues music. Really I just plain love music. Got clean and sober in '85 and put my bass in the closet... left all my dope fiend friends alone and survived... but something was missing... started playing again a few years ago and now all the guys in the band are clean and sober freaks like me... so I guess music never stopped. NA saved my live and the only thing asked in return is to give back... so if you think I have something you need, why not ask...

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Bill O'Reilly so I could ask him, What The Fuck? Michael Moore ditto. President Bush so I could shake his hand... then punch him in the nose... I would like to spend a couple hours talking with Buddy Guy, probably has some freaky good stories... Seriously, pretty much any musician who wants to walk some 12 bar or doesn't mind jammin' around a bass that pretty much hammers the roots and marks the turn-around.

Why we work.... Right now I don't remember.

Why do adults fall into the child roll so willingly and selfishly? Even people I respect are behaving with incredible pettiness. Roof leaks. Hey, get the roof fixed! Cant be fixed. Have to replace it...
