I have been a musician most of my life. I started playing keyboards/piano and brass instruments when I was 12. My musical journey has lead me to a variety of musical groups including the Sudbury Symphony, North Bay Symphony, Northern Brass Choir, Huntington All-Star Jazz Band and played and instructed with the Blue Saints Drum & Bugle Corps competing and playing in World and National Competitions.
Then out of high school I co-formed tour band Baracuda Smile ventured across Canada playing 7 months of year and returning to play my hometown of Sudbury. After the disbandment of Baracuda Smile, 3 of the 5 members formed tour band Rogue and hit the bars of Canada once again. I left Rogue when my first son was born to persue fatherhood. Then my path led me to the Windsor area. After a break from the music scene, I resurfaced with a established band called the Atlantics, playing drums & percussion and playing a variety of ethnic based festivals.
Then my path led me to 8ight Past Nine along with long-time friend and Baracuda Smile bassist/vocalist Todd Kidd and I am currently playing keyboards, accordian, percussion, guitar, trumpet and whatever instrument I can put in my hands. We are currently working on our first album titled "Stood in the Rain", the album is done and in the mastering phase, and will be available soon.
I am also working on a solo project called The Other Side of Reason, an instrumental album that is currently in the preproduction phase. One of my instrumental songs "Seasons" will be recorded at SLR Studios and will be featured on the 8ight Past Nine album as well as The Other Side of Reason.
