There is a signature force and power to the music that Mamzers Dream has been making this year, and as people are discovering those qualities, their reputation as artists and songwriters has only grown. Their work represents the best of what Rock can be. Its Rock-driven, uplifting, blue collar and true to itself and its audience. Perhaps most of all it’s distinctly honest, a plainspoken testament to the dignity, hopes and aspirations of ordinary working people. In a time as obsessed with glamour, celebrity, fame and materialism as ours, Their songs remain an embracing tonic, an emblem of the belief that everyone’s life is worthy of importance in music. The song "Missing You" explores the personal pain of families whose children have become victims of kidnappings, the possibilities of death, and the necessity to move on, while “Pisces†resonates the common frustration of getting to a place in life where you think, "How did this happen, Is this where I want to be, how lives change. “The song has hints of empathy, and there is a definite melodic mood running through it. “If you make write music about people you can tap into an emotion, and people’s lives."The band was formed in Anchorage, Alaska by Jimmy and Lorenzo. The pair moved to Colorado, where they picked up lead guitarist Jim, and drummer Brock. Mamzers Dream is looking forward for the self-titled ep scheduled for release in 2008!
