So we're moving on from a tough year with some notable improvements. I'm an office manager and medical assistant for one rockin' doctor (she saved Geoff's life, she gets the title). We lost our oldest household pet, the fabulous Miss Fatty Patty made her way to "the farm" and so we added a couple of new additions. One of our best friends went on to meet his maker, but we've grieved and recovered and made some great new ones, who (while never taking his place) have stretched our hearts further. Brock has finally hit his stride in school and will be testing his new found groove at a new school this fall, especially tailored to his particular needs. My dad bought a new house and my mom's moving to New Jersey. My husband lost a large portion of his foot, but I got a great job from the lovely woman who refused to make me a widow a month after our marriage. And we finally bought a new car. That's the long and short of it...
