Manuel Mukes III was born in San Francisco, California and his parents moved to New Orleans, Louisiana where he resided in the Fisher Housing Projects.
Manuel was the former owner of the very successful record label "Smoke 1 Records". He had a very successful Track Record with artists such as Tre-8 and Zeeda. Manuel also was affiliated with Hip-Hop entrepreneur Master P on the Down South Hustler compilation that went multi platinum. He later went into partnership with Master P on Tre-8s "Ghetto Stories" album that sold over 100,000 units. Manuel then went independent and released Tre-8s Dey Scared of Me, which sold over 40,000 units. Following this success Manuel then released an album on" The Queen of the South " " Zeeda ". Zeeda sold over 7000 units locally and from this local album Zeeda was voted as one of the best female rappers in the world by the nation wide publication " Murda Dog " magazine. Manuel then collaborated with Rap-a-lot artist Scarface for Tre 8 to feature on his album which upon release went multi platinum.
Manuel experienced a glamorous life and many individuals were envious of his accomplishments. This life style seemed to be a success, but tragedy struck and Manuel was the victim of a violent shooting. This shooting nearly took his life, but God had something else on his agenda for Manuel to partake in. God has now instilled in Manuel's spirit "Bound 4 Glory Records". Manuel now vows to save souls and to glorify God in mind, body, soul and spirit through Bound 4 Glory Records.
