I was banished from the planet Krypton with my allies Non and Ursa. I was destined to rule, but Jor-El had sentenced the three of us to the Phantom Zone, a dimensional prison. We would be there for eternity. I had previously made a deal with an associate, Brainiac.. if I had failed, then the planet must be destroyed!
Alas, the planet was destroyed.. but it was not complete. Jor-El had sent his son to another world, a planet with a yellow sun, where the child would be raised by pathetic weakling humans. Me and my two allies would not be freed until the son of Jor-El sent a bomb into space, which released us.
We quickly found out that the closer we got to a planet with a yellow sun, the more our molecular density gave us limitless powers. And we used them! Oh yes, we certainly did. We crushed all in our path, leaving a path of destruction in our wake, and I had taken over the White House, becoming self-appointed President.. apparently, he rules the planet Houston. It was so easy.
Unfortunately, Kal-El, the son of our jailor showed up. This.. Superman, who used his powers to help and save.. when he should use them to rule!! That is his weakness, he actually *cares* for you Earth people! So we fought in his icy fortress, and he used that bastard Luthor to trick us into losing our powers.
The story does not end there. The movie lied! I climbed my way back up and operated the machine. My powers had returned. I tracked down Non and Ursa, restoring their powers.. and we are together once more.
I shall rule again! I have managed to take over the United States, but the other countries shall soon kneel before me as well. And the next time I see Superman, I will crush him. Come to me, son of Jor-El! Kneel before Zod!!!
