About Me

Sinful and fallen as I am, I try to live a life that reflects the gift that God has given me through His Son's first coming and paying the ransom for all of what should have been my eternally punishable sins. Had it not been by His grace alone, through faith in Him and His finished work alone-my life would be vanity, hidden or outright, followed by eternal punishment for the sins I chose to indulge in from sin one till my last sin on earth. Like all men, I was a wretched sinner-oblivious to my sin, separated from His eternal presence, and destined for hell because of the sin I chose. That is, until someone shared God's good news with me because of what God had also done for them, and my mind and heart were gradually opened to hear, seek, understand, accept, and trust in God and His good news. God used that to reveal Himself and His plan to save me by grace and gave me faith as He promised, and my life-though filled with blessings, trials, and hardship-has never been the same. He is my treasure, and tears of joy often come when I think of God and why He chose me. All things considered, I was a prideful thing, working for things that did not last, destined for judgment. Now, I have peace with God, am destined for grace, and He keeps not His Holy Spirit from me.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

The one and only God, who out of His justice, grace, love, and mercy sent His Son to become MAN in the flesh to pay the full penalty for my eternally punishable sins on the cross-along with the sins of all MEN and WOMEN who bear testimony to this Gift by continually repenting and believing in Him. He is sinless Savior and Triune God who reveals Himself to us in Scripture and what He has made as He sees fit, defining Himself and us, not to be confined or defined by the attributes, actions, words, or philosophies of the things He has made. I also think it would be kind of interesting if I could meet myself-ten years from now. Funny people. Nice people. Old friends. New friends. People who have never heard of God's plan of reconciling sinners with Himself. People who know of God but see no reason why God would judge them or send His Son in the flesh to die for them. People who don't believe in God. People who don't know if He's real. People that are curious about Him. I'd also like to meet a woman who genuinely loves the Lord, has a heart for sharing God's gift of salvation from the penalty and power of sin, and wants to help me draw nearer to Him by pushing me to trust Him more-rather than making me stumble.
