The first thing you should know about me is that, I'm very passionate. When I get into something, I don't play. Recently, I decided to give my life and my heart to God, and I'm serious about it. I'm really tired of people saying they're "christian" and they keep living the life they see fit. I'm not saying that just because they're not christian they are not good people, I'm saying that living a "good" life and not doing "bad" things is simply not good enough. Jesus came and DIED and SUFFERED unimaginable spiritual AND physical pain so that we could repent and be saved from going to hell! I think the least we could do in appreciation is live a life that pleases Him, and when we do, it's a favor we're doing to ourselves! When we live the way HE wants, we are healing OUR spirit, cleansing OUR soul and replacing all the hate, anger, pain, suffering, addictions, perversion, and evil with HIS love, HIS wisdom, and HIS power. We become someone that we never thought we could be. I'm not saying we become perfect, but we do become worthy of being called His children. As long as we sincerely try our hardest to live a righteous life, and as long as we get back up when we fall, He will reward us with forgiveness and salvation. That is not to say that we can keep on making the same mistakes over and over and say, "oh, well as long as I ask for forgiveness I can do whatever I feel like." It doesn't work like that, you have to truly and sincerely repent, regret it and once you ask for forgiveness, do everything HUMANLY POSSIBLE to NEVER make that same mistake/sin ever again! Not to mention, you have to spiritually grow and mature by reading the Bible, which is his personal diary for you to read and get to know him, and pray and have a deep, REAL, relationship with Him. To get to know YOUR FATHER, because that's what he is, he's not some ambiguous being floating in space, he is a PERSON. He has feelings, opinions, and even a sense of humor! He created us in HIS image, that means everything we are, he is too, but WE are not everything HE is. So, if you have a desire to pray don't think you have to go to a church and kneel in front of an altar, which if you want by all means do it, but if that's what's keeping you from praying, then do it however you feel comfortable. You can be in your car driving, on the toilet, at your job, at school, anywhere. He listens to those who sincerely want to talk to him no matter where or who they are. Believe me, Jesus has healed so much hurt, so much pain that I thought I could NEVER get rid of, and he did it practically over night! It's not the same for everyone so I'm not saying he's going to do it the same for everyone, but he goes as fast as you let him. Like I said, I have always been a very radical person when I decide something I go for it 100% and that's why it was easy for God to radically change me and my life. But for other people it takes a little more time. But that's perfectly fine, as long as you persevere and ask for His help. So I encourage you to seek God for yourself, just try it out for yourself, don't be so close-minded, and just maybe, it'll be the best thing you ever did!
