Biography
DJ Ken C first started DJing at the age of 19, which would be considered old for most DJs, but with a long history in musical background from playing all types of instruments while he was younger, developing into a DJ of his caliber was no surprise. He picked up the skills quickly and is one of the most thriving up and coming DJs in the Bay Area.
In 2003, he was given a chance to DJ at the Forum now called Abyss in Sunnyvale and has yet to look back. He now has DJed at every major club in San Francisco, including Club NV, City Nights, Suite 181, Crash Nightclub, Mission Rock, Suede, Boss and many more in the San Francisco Bay Area. His style of spinning a mix of hip hop, R&B, 80's, classic rock, house & mash-ups and his ability to control a crowd definitely separates him from the rest.
Currently DJ Ken C just released "Mashin It Up: Vol II" continuing his “Mashin It Up” series in providing current top mash-up hits and exclusive mash-ups and remixes produced by DJ Ken C.
He is also working to become a studio/sound engineer, to further his career into the depths of the music industry. He has beginning experience in working in large format studios and mixing on large consoles as well as substantial experience with ProTools, Logic Pro and Audition, DAW platforms.
