what's good people thanks for visiting my site.. my name is matty (slugone). im from so cal and i moved out to vegas bout 95 or so ive loved making music as long as i can remember. i grew up listing to punk rock and played for various bands through out southern california as well as las vegas...i played bass for the lv local street punk band "Third World War" for about 2 and half years. when that died out about 99 to 2000 i stared rapping because it was easy for me to do what i wanted to do at my out pace instead of relying on 3 or four guys to show up at the same time to write music together. 2002 i clicked up with fellow local artist "Death" and dropped my first hip hop release "Lost souls"...(don't buy it, is crap. sorry to anyone who has already wasted there money on it) after that i took a little time off to get some parts of my life straightened out. about 2004 i hooked up with Sear on his mix tape titled "something for the streets". i did about 13 tracks on it. right after that i started on a little project called "the remix tape"(2005) which was an ep that i chose 6 songs to remix and did my own thing with each one of them. after that me and sear decided to do a full length together titled "Something For The East" which was the first release off my label "EastBlockEnt" we hooked up with a lot of different producers and a few artist to release what would be are debut cd. it was released at the end of December of 06. last but not least i have recently hooked up with one of lvs finest "Mc Dishragg" (aka Perv) to release a mix tape titled "Metal Sweaters Fo Cold Weathers" which will be dropping real soon. also in the works we have an EBE compilation cd that will be featuring various local artist from all over the valley. also watch for Death's "Death In The Flesh The Mix tape" dropping around june! watch for it! im am always down do to colabs with different folk so if your real about what you do don't hesitate to holla at me bout it! 2007 will be a long year! haters stay the fuck out the way or get run the fuck over!
