About Me

I love to play bass. I'm currently gigging with jazz group The Lyveden Project, Luna Kalamata who play acoustic Balkan music, the fine singer, Anna Bengo (www.annabengo.com) and with coverbands - Groovefactor and The Rock 'n' Rollers. I'm looking forward to working with James Harris once we get that show on the road www.myspace.com/jamesharrisukI'm also happy to be playing a few dates with funk/soul originals Xsentrick Gemini while their regular bassist is out of action.I have over twenty years experience in most types of music. Listening and grooving are my strong points. I specialise in fretless bass and am capable of using it in a range of styles and laying some fretted down too, if that is your thing.I love jazz but have also played in African bands, Latin bands, Rock, Reggae, Funk, Soul, Gospel and more. I'm based in central London. I can read charts or learn music quickly by ear.Current projects:
The Lyvenden Project
Anna Bengo
Lunakalamata
