Christianity has become so twisted. It's not the suit and tie, nor the obvious good deeds, or "holy acts"; yet its the humble struggle daily with the Lord. We will always fall short of the Glory of God and as a Christian I accept this. His only perfect son died on the cross as an atonement for my sins, I can never thank him fully for what he has accomplished because Lord knows I deserve death and punishment. Yet it's through prayer, obedience and confession of yours sins "To God alone" that you
"truly walk with God and carry your Cross."
I don't claim to be holy, or better than anyone else, nor will I judge you, we all battle the same strugglesin just different venues. It's the submitting yourself to God's infinite power and the realization that you yourself in your humanly flesh can accomplish nothing beautiful in Gods eyes. When you choose to submit your life to Christ then you are his "elect", you now have purpose and that purpose is for Christ to manifest himself through you so that others may see the TRUE identity of Christ. Not on your own will, but through prayer and humble servititude will Christ be visible.
I am a Christian and I will always fall short of the Glory of God, but I have a personal intimate relationship with my Father, an intangible one that I wouldn't trade anything in the world for. He loves us way more than we truly know.
