With roots that reach back to days spent in Church singing the praise of the almighty, Foxx brings to the stage a level of talent that has long been hidden in dark. Life has given him material and music has given him an outlet to take his fans on a ride through his life and their own. His guitar sings us to sleep, or simply relaxes the stress of the day away. While his lyrics walk us thru his life and times giving us insight to the world that he sees everyday. So if your listening ear has a taste for a smooth sound, or the story of someone that’s been thru a storm or two, then not giving him a chance is a disservice to self.
“Late Nights†was put together with the sole purpose of relaxing the mind and taking us all to a place that we seldom find in our day to day lives. With several tracks that are a tribute to events and people in his life, he guides us to our own memories and mental hide-a-ways with the dance of notes that escape his guitar. This CD served as the opening act to a show that is sure to be brilliant. Pouring everything that makes him who he is into his music, you can at times close your eyes and feel the pain, happiness, and joy come across in the melody.
