About Me

Originally from New York, Randi created and produced New York City's first writer-in-the-round show called "The Songwriters Circle" at The Bitter End, which is still extremely successful today. She moved to Nashville at the end of 1992, was immediately signed to her first publishing deal and began getting her songs cut by various American and European artists. A professional voice coach for over 20 years, she has helped and worked with hundreds of artists including Gary Tallent (Bruce Springstein), Jessica Biel, Gary Nicholson, Kevin Welch and Jessi Alexander. Randi has performed on some of the largest and most prestigious stages in the world including Madison Square Garden and Carnegie Hall. After spending years singing, touring and recording with The Mavericks, Gloria Estefan, Buster Poindexter, Englebert Humperdink and Gary Nicholson, including performances on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and Jay Leno, Late Night with David Letterman, The MTV World Music Video Awards, TNN, and various cable shows, Randi's life changed dramatically when her mother and grandmother passed away in 1998. Needing a break, she moved to Boulder, Colorado in 2000 where she studied business and opened a unique art center called The Center For Creative Expression which featured classes in music, dance and the visual arts. While there, she continued to write music and worked with the hugely popular college circuit rock band The String Cheese Incident which produced their latest single. She then returned to Nashville and from 2005-2008 she was the Show Producer and Booking Manager for Tin Pan South, the largest songwriting festival in the world. She also worked as Talent Supervisor for the second series of the PBS television show "Legends & Lyrics" booking the shows and organizing the talent. She is currently VP of A&R and Catalogue Acquisitions for 515 Music Group in Nashville. In 2006 Randi began co-writing the musical “Secrets Of Songwriting, which was featured in The Eugene O'Neill Theatre Festival in August 2008 and is returning there to be the headliner for the festival in August 2009. The show is also getting ready for production off-Broadway in NYC and in Chicago in 2009-2010. She also writes with many talented country, pop and rock artists in Nashville.
