1205 Records, LLC is an independent record company located in Louisville, KY. Formed in 2003, 1205 Records is an extension of Strictly Hip-Hop Productions founded in 1999. Strictly Hip-Hop Productions was primarily a DJ company, whereas 1205 Records is a full fledged record label. We offer a wide variety of services beyond financing albums. We also bring to the table artist development, artist management, promotion and marketing, logo and cd cover design, web pages and links for artists, and much more. 1205 Records will have a strong emphasis in the rap music genre, but will not be limited to strictly hip-hop as the former name implied. I have been listening to hip-hop and rap since the mid-eighties, and have been a music fanatic my entire life. I pride myself on having an ear for quality music, regardless of how it's categorized.Mike Allen
