I'm a designer and musician living in Venice, CA. I've lived in California for 5 years. I think it's making me crazy. I'm serious.Moved here from Minneapolis, where I was broke for long time. Then I worked for Prince as his artist/art director. This was an unlikely and very good experience.I work in Hollywood, mostly design titles and animation for film and trailers. I am a...creative director. I'd like to meet:

I think I've been lucky to meet the few people I really wanted to meet. I just want them to keep doing more of what they do. Art, music, writing, whatever it is.Mostly...if someone has done extraordinary things, the kind of things that would make you want to meet someone....it doesn't make me want to meet them.I think this section is supposed to be for listing 'idols' or maybe the type of girl I'd like to meet or something. Woody Allen--Sweet and Lowdown, Stardust Memories, Hannah and Her Sisters, Crimes and Misdemeanors. Not matching any of the rest of the list are old Jackie Chan movies. I love them. and...many more.

Books:

Whenever I try to think of other books to list, I don't know what to write. I read a lot, go through phases. Orwell, Borges, Phillip K. Dick, the dystopian crowd. Kurt Vonnegut. Steven Millhauser. Yes, I like David Sedaris. Gore Vidal, but really just like his nonfiction. Einstein's Dreams is my favorite book because I'm a sap.
