I'm Just Me

I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships and Friends

About Me

My name is Jimmy and I'm 26 years old. I work a pretty decent Monday thru Friday job and am okay with that. My weekends are pretty much free so I spend that time mostly doing laundry and other house work. That is usually when I catch up on my tv watching as well. I love my friends and miss most of them because I never see them. I enjoy simple things in life. Money is great, but it really isn't everything. Just enough to cover the neccesities in life-bills, food, gas for the car, a little spending money and some put back for a rainy day. I do not enjoy the bar and club scene, never really have. I enjoy just hanging out with my friends and having a good time. Whether it is hanging out at someone's house playing cards or board games, going out to eat, to the movies, bowling, whatever. It does not take much to make me satisfied. Right now I am at a point in my life where I would like to meet new friends and build up better relationships with the ones I already have.

My Interests

Listening to music, hanging out with friends, watching tv, watching movies, bowling, etc.

I'd like to meet:

New friends and that special someone. Someone who is warm, funny, down to earth, honest, caring, nuturing and loving and who has a cute face with the most beautiful eyes I could get lost in. Just like me! LOL

Music:

Mostly country and pop-Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, Dixie Chicks, Faith Hill, Sugarland, Kelly Clarkson, Justin Timberlake, Cher, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey-Just to name a few.

Movies:

Lots of favorites: The Wizard of Oz, Fried Green Tomatoes, Steel Magnolias, Madea's Family Reunion, Diary of a Mad Black Woman, Erin Brokovich, 9 to 5, others.

Television:

I'm not real big on the new programs just haven't been able to get into them but I do like All My Children, As the World Turns, One Life to Live, General Hospital, Will and Grace, Sex and the City, Golden Girls, Roseanne, The Real World, Real World/Road Rules Challenge, just to name a few.

Books:

I honestly would rather watch it if they make a movie of it. LOL

Heroes:

I would have to say my mom. Twice in her life she was a single mom. It was like starting completely over. In the early 70's when my brother and sister were little she left her husband due to circumstances that were beyond her control. Then when I was younger, my dad left home and she had to start over new. She had to be strong for her family and be the best she could be as a parent. I feel as though these incidents in her life made her a much stronger person and for that I most look up to her.

New Year goals

Here it is a New Year so Happy New Year to all! 2007 was not exactly the best year for me. I'm hoping 2008 will be better. I lost friends last year due to petty differences and I guess because I'm too...
