About Me

Levity is a four piece Nottingham based rock band with a four year history and an original and organic approach to music. The band was formed in 2005 and has enjoyed local success playing many venues and battle of the bands. From this, the band has gained a dedicated following, much experience and have grown into a musical tour de force.
More recently, the band’s line up has changed slightly with the addition of a new guitarist; this change has been embraced by the band and has in turn created a new era of creativity and originality. The band loves all music and approaches song writing with the question “what next?” in an attempt to progress music and does not merely emulate other bands. The outcome of this is a sound that drives like rock, is as infectious as electro, and melodic as pop.
The band takes its future very seriously and hopes to build on both its fan base and new musical direction. Currently, the band is performing in and around Nottingham but is looking further a field to gain more experience and opportunities.
