About Me

I am an actress, teacher and the former Director of Education and Outreach at a professional Lort-D theatre in Norfolk,VA (Virginia Stage Company). My husband was relocated to the DC area last Spring and I joined him this past summer. I have been living out my dream, finally, and auditioning regularly with much success. I am elated to write that I have joined AFTRA/SAG! I was cast on FOX's America's Most Wanted as the principal character in an episode that aired in October. For those of you thinking of moving to LA or NY....I suggest you consider living in DC for a brief stint. There is plenty of theatre, TV and film work to go around and fewer actors to compete with. My husband and I currently live in an apartment while we search for a house with our two children, my lovely kitties, Tanga and Blue. No real babies yet. I am a die-hard UT fan...go VOLS!!!div style="visibility:visible;"

Music:

All kinds....but I hate rap that is all about slapping Ya Ho's around and drivin' dirty. I also hate music that consists of a vocal line of screaming. I love love love Jason Mraz, Chris Cornell, Jewel, Cat Stevens, the Beatles, Rolling Stones, and shamefully....I love country (especially the old stuff).

Movies:

my all time favorites: Shadowlands, Shakespeare in Love, The Never Ending Story, The Last Unicorn

Television:

Yes I am an actress so this is a sin....but I am a sucker for reality T.V....all kinds....I even watch that skating with celebs crap! I also like Grey's Anatomy, D-Housewives, Everybody Loves Raymond, King of Queens, and Family Guy.

Books:

The Audacity of Hope....I need to be informed on all potential candidates before I vote!
