Lewiis's influences include the various legends of the late seventies and eighties such as Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross, Donnie Hathaway, George Benson, Lionel Richie, James Ingram and many more. Lewiis started gospel singing at an early age and was always complimented on his vocal abilities and now use this solid base as a background for many of his tracks. Lewiis also found encouragement by the many musician friends and in the family.
Lewiis has appeared and shared stages with the likes of Jagged Egde on tour in Sydney as well as Israel, Stan Bravo, MIB, NZ's own 4 Corners. Producing tracks for Lil Souljah, Kyte Kutter, Bambino of OPC as well as producing for K-Sera of the Edge 96.1 FM. This list of production and collaboration is growing fast as his uniqueness in track style is making a bold statement in the music scene.
As well as doing his own shows, Lewiis has also appeared live with many of Sydney's Hip-Hop artists and bands such as Ends and Means, Mc Kye, Hyjack and Torcha and Bliss and Esso punching out soulful hooks between their 'wikkid' verses.
Lewiis's heart however remains with RNB/Soul. As well as writing and producing many of his tracks, he has also been working with Producers such as Big Ben of Nufirm, B-Don of B-respect, DJ Bonez of Statik Recordings and Maurese of Jetlag Productions to be bringing out his own album along with collaborating with many other artists.
Lewiis along with industry partners has now established the 1-Love label down here for the "deserved to be heard" talented crews of sydney and holding as many event as possible to promote the Urban music scene. Lil Souljah of 1-Love has recently completed a track with Young Noble of The Infamous OUTLAWZ (2pac's Crew).
