D-Mat is a ferocious lyricist and a talented artist/songwriter.His flair for the dramatic onstage combined with the raw beats delivered by his partner in crime, Evan SQ ,make these two some of the freshest , most promising raw artists on the underground scene. D is a self proclaimed "hillbilly" who is proud to represent upstate New York. The contents of his music and mind blowing lyrics are the derivative of true life experinces of a part time sudent /full time hustler in Orange County New York. This 21 year old kid (born 4-20-85) has been tearing it out the frame dropping classic freestyles across the tri-state since 1999. After surviving a near fatal stabing attack during a performance at the woodstock reunion in Bethel , D-Mat is geared and determined to burst onto the hip hop scene by catching wreck with his lyrical skills , raw energy , and of course bringing it to anybody who wants it. His sidekick SQ is a musical prodigy who has carved out a name ,and a high demand for his services , on the underground scene with his precision and ability to rock a live crowd combined with his nack for perfection while laying it down in the studio. SQ is a talented percussionist who possesses a passion for HIP HOP which comes through loud and clear on the track. D-Mat and SQ collaborated on their first project CLEPTOMANIAC,(a title song from the project and also one of D Mats many alter egos) which produced a dozen hot tracks and legions of anxious fans fiending for MORE.
