About Me

I always feel like an idiot writing about myself. I would rather bash my head in with a hammer (ok, not seriously, since I do value my head very much). Here it goes........I am quiet, considerate, a bit of loner, I take myself way to seriously (I'm trying to work on it), I don't do pratical jokes (I think they are mean), I have a big heart but I do not wear it on my sleeve, and it takes a long time to get to know me. I value the friends that I do have and I am proud to have them in my life. I am in a great relationship and have absolutely no interest in any kind of love interests other then who I am currently in love with. Just an FYI for ya'll out there.

Music:

I like just about everything except Rap and Hip Hop. I have recently in the past couple of years gotten into Rockabilly (did I spell that right?). I am not good with naming bands and songs, I never was. If I like the beat of the music then I like it.

Movies:

I have a huge collection of DVD's, 598 movies and 86 tv series to be exact. I love movies! My favorites are comedy's. I am not really into the moosh-goosh kind of movies, but I do like some. I for instance just bought "In Her Shoes" with Cameron Diaz and thought it was very thought provoking. Yes, it was a feel good movie, but the characters had depth to them. I don't do horrors much anymore. I used to love them, but now they just kind of freak me out. Take for instance that crazy movie "The Grudge", ok, that just scared the bejesus out of me and I dreamed about that girl crawling down the stairs! Yuck!

Television:

I don't do reality TV. I think it is stupid. Sorry to all those who love it, but I can't stand it. I love sitcoms. Those are my favorites. "Third Rock from the Sun" to name one. "Scrubs" is another that I really like a lot. Since I live here in Germany everything is dubbed and I only buy the DVD's now so I can hear it in English. My German is not all that great.

Books:

I have a collection of over 300 hard back books in every subject I can think of....except Romance. I find those books are just a waste of my time. Unfortunately most of my lovelies are in storage and I do not have access to them from Germany. So sad, as of now I am in between 3 books. One is about the Austrian royality the Hapsburgs, the other is about King Ludwig II the Bavarian King and the last is about the secret society's and clubs such as the Knights Templar. I really like those crazy little mysteries which has some kind of heroine involved. I get a kick out of those.
