Sounds Like: Jack Waldheim.........Here it is. The collective infusion of memory. The nostalgic contemplation on the whole thing, written on a beat up old guitar. It is a picture of a man devoid of anger and left with moments. Poetic and original, it is as much the moist and red curtained window to the mind as it is an indepentant film of a life. The band explodes into the "Mr. Freakshow" refrain with a desperate notion of introspection, as it all moves on from there; a declaration of tragic and graceful beauty with contrast and subtlety. This album feels like what the best dreamers see. It is acoustic and electric, full band and solo guitar, sung and sometimes spoken, and subtly familiar but always new. With surprises lurking in the sound, the music is infused with the whisper of life as it emerges hopeful, and exposes the feeling, always the feeling.
