Formed in 1996 from the ashes of several Metal bands in the Midwest, including Stygian, Legacy and Jester, Descension was more than just a band - it began as a concept, a true theatrical Metal experience... and as a musical monster that would devour anyone or anything in it's path!Over the years, the band has become a well respected group in the Midwest, nominated four years in a row in the Kansas City Music Awards as best Metal band as well as two years in a row as best live band in Kansas City. I have said it before but I will say it again. I am NOT here for a "Lets see how many friends we can get in a day" bunch of crap.
